10대를 위한 Book Nerd Club - Bring Your Own Book

Intermediate - Advanced
In this class, our goal is to encourage kids to read and try new things. We will not be analyzing books or reading aloud. Each week will have a theme for a type of book to read (see list below). The instructor will post a list of suggested books that fit the topic for the next week directly after class (or message it to new students). Students will choose a book to read during the week, using the weekly theme as their guide, and should be ready to share about what they read.
Questions will be asked about:
The book they read (physical or digital copy)
How does it fit the weekly theme?
Did they like the book? Why or why not?
Is it a book they will read again?
Can they relate to the main character?
And more

Hello! I'm Aubrey and I am mom to 9 crazy children ages four through sixteen. We live on a homestead in Idaho where we raise rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, goats, pigs and sheep.

I have a degree in Math Education and one in Family History but I love to teach a number of subjects. I absolutely love meeting new students! My favorite thing about teaching is helping my students to learn to use the tools that I am giving them in their daily life. Join my classes to learn about math, English, history and many more homestead themed topics to help you complete daily tasks and possibly find a new hobby in the process.

I'm excited to meet you!
