Hi everyone! Welcome to Roblox Coding. This is a live course for students with 6 or more months of coding experience. This class has coursework that students complete OUTSIDE of classroom time. This can include things such as writing a code or building a basic structure in the workspace. The outside coursework requires about 1-2 hours a week of time. Understanding basic programming concepts: Teach students fundamental programming concepts such as variables and functions. Scripting basics: Teach students how to create and manipulate objects in Roblox using Lua scripting. Debugging: Teach students how to find and fix errors in their code.

Students are encouraged to practice coding outside of class 1 - 2 hours a week. When practicing, students are encouraged to create their own examples and test of ideas of their own. I will post information in the Outschool classroom for students to work on and practice.수업 외 주당 1 - 2 시간

You must have experience using Roblox Studio before taking this class. Some coding experience (in any language) is required. Experience using a computer is required.
Roblox Studio can only be used on a Windows or Mac Computer. Unfortunately, Roblox Studio does NOT work on a Google Chromebook, Smartphones, Tablets, or video game consoles. In order to participate in this class, it is required students use a Windows or Mac computer. A computer mouse is strongly encouraged but not required.

Parental Guidance is advised for students under 13 when accessing the internet and when downloading and installing programs such as Roblox Studio. Roblox Studio is a free program that should only be downloaded from the official Roblox site. www.roblox.com/create. Roblox Studio requires a Roblox account. Roblox Studio's toolbox contains premade items that can added into the game environment. The toolbox contains items that may be unsafe for your computer. This class does NOT use or encourage use of the Toolbox.
