Roblox Animation and Rig Design

In this beginner class, students will learn to create animations for Roblox characters using Blender. Students are also welcome to create animations within studio using the Animation Editor. 

This class uses Blender and Roblox Studio. Please download Blender before class begins. www.belnder.org

New students are welcome to join anytime! Experience using Blender is great, but not required. I assume students in this class have not used Blender before. 

This class is learner-directed, which means students are welcome to create an animation of their choice. Each week, this class focuses on the following things:

-Setting up a Roblox character for animation in Blender. Students are welcome to use standard starter rigs or create their own. 
-Understanding keyframes and creating basic character movements
-Refining animations with smooth transitions and timing
-Saving animations
- Imports/Exports

Learning animation takes time. The whole point of this class is to practice these skills over time so that you become really good at animation. Every week is about animation.
