Don't worry no ice cream maker is needed just a few household items to make our frosty treat!
Here is what each student will need to make our ice cream:
2 Large Mixing Bowls
Measuring cups and spoons
20 cups of ice (divided)
2 cups water (divided)
6 tablespoons salt
Thermometer
Small plastic zip-top baggie
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Gallon-size plastic zip-top baggie
Spoon

As we will be making ice cream please be aware if your child has any allergies to: Dairy/Milk. I have not made this recipe with other types of milk (almond, soy, coconut, oat) but if your learner would like to try they may!

We will not be using any sharp objects or anything that requires heat. Learners will be asked to pour contents into various cups or baggies so it could be good to have some napkins available. All children are at different ages and abilities, and it is okay if your child needs a little extra guidance from an older sibling or parent during the pouring portions of this class.
