Oh no! Someone ignored the "Take One" sign and broke the Golden Rule of Halloween: they emptied the entire candy bowl! Luckily, there were witnesses to the crime! Unfortunately, there are several suspects that fit the description of the Halloween criminal. 

Work together to find clues and solve the mystery! As learners interview each suspect, they will be challenged with math and logic puzzles that will lead them to clues. Once they've solved all of the math mysteries, they'll use the clues to determine who committed the crime! 

Learners should be familiar with math concepts such as: addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Learners will be provided with support from peers or the teacher as needed; this is a friendly, supportive game for learners of all skill levels. Each suspect will be "interviewed" with a math puzzle. When they find the answer, learners will be given a "statement" from the suspect. After all of the suspects have been interviewed, learners will have to read each statement and apply logical thinking to eliminate innocent trick or treaters and find the guilty one!

This class will be most fun with at least two learners. If there is only one student enrolled, parents may be asked to choose one of the following options: 
1). if their learner would prefer being alone or with other students
2). if they would like to be transferred to a section with more students, or
3). withdraw/be refunded and enroll next time a section is offered.
