In this one time class students will learn the steps to the country line dance Good Time by Alan Jackson. The teacher will break down the line dance into multiple pieces and she will demonstrate each piece prior to the student attempting the steps that were demonstrated. When it is the students turn to attempt the steps, the teacher will have them copy her first, and then the students will try the steps on their own. Please view parental guidance prior to signing up for this course.
I am the owner/instructor of Dance Away Dance Lessons. I have been teaching in person classes for over two years and have also been teaching zoom online classes for over a year.
Students will be dancing to the song good time by Alan Jackson. Please listen to the song prior to enrolling in the class to make sure you are comfortable with your students hearing those lyrics. Students should have an open area with no tripping hazards, such as a living room with furniture pushed aside. Students should also wear tennis shoes for class. This is a low-key dance and does not contain strenuous dance moves. As with any physical activity, there is always a risk. If students attempt to dance in shoes with heels or flip flops they risk twisting an ankle.
