Mad Libs are stories that have words missing - we will review and fill in missing parts of speech, such as nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives randomly to create a funny story that will make you laugh! Students will read, write, and play with words to make their own magical stories. This class is perfect for English students who are learning English as a second language. Parental Guidance
The story theme must be sent within enough time of class so the teacher can send the worksheet and prepare for the lesson.
If the story requested is not available, then the teacher will need to either reschedule or cancel class. Please make sure to inform me well before class time of your learner's preference. Thank you!
Pre-Requisites
Students should know or at least have been introduced to the parts of speech: noun, verb, adjective, adverb, etc.
Supply List
A worksheet that is needed for the mad lib story will be provided within 24 hours of class. Please also bring a writing utensil.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
