Learners will complete a STEM challenge based on a modern retelling of Mary Had a Little Lamb. Your fashionistas in the making will love the rhyme and rhythm of Mary Had a Little Glam. After hearing the story, learners will learn how to use the Engineering Design Process as a STEM resource for solving a problem. They will ask, imagine, plan, create, improve and present their designs with the class. This class will include a teacher read aloud, discussion, independent work time and a group share. Lesson content will be delivered through a Power Point presentation. This lesson will be interactive and fun. Learners are encouraged to share ideas and feedback with one another. No experience necessary.

Recommended items are: construction paper, newspaper, magazines, scissors, tape, glue, crayons, and/or markers Additional household crafting items that might be useful: toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, string, glitter, felt, pipe cleaners, feathers, sequins
