In this mini version of my Colonial History course, students will recieve a look at the various aspects of life in Colonial America. The class will be facilitated with a teacher-made powerpoint to allow students to see images of life during this time period. I believe strongly in allowing students to see/experience things firsthand. (Whirligig): Small Yarn, LARGE Button or Pringles Lid, scissors
If your child is participating at home, he/she may need help with scissors to cut cardboard for the whirlygig toy if a large button is not avalible.
I will be using photos from Colonial Williamsburg to help show the differences of colonial life for all Americans and what daily life would have entailed for different people. Information from Scholastic, History.com, and Britannica has helped form the information that will be presented.
