This course will take your learner through an advanced phonics pathway. (adapted from the Reading Simplified pathway) 🌟I will begin with teaching how to read words with a silent "e". If your learner already knows how to read these words, then the lesson/games/stories can be used as a review/refresher. 🌟Then, the next 10 lessons will be about advanced phonics - teaching what vowel pairs do together. Examples of vowel pairs are: ea, ai, ou, au, etc. 🌟After each video lesson, there are sort it activities with a variety of themes, stories and games/activities for your learner to engage with to give them opportunities to practice and learn the new vowel pairs/sounds. ➡️During the later part of the pathway, I will demonstrate how to read words with two syllables in the video lessons. The stories and sort it activities will include 2 chunk words for the learner to read. ❤️Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to read words and stories with a magic/silent "e" and how to read words with advanced phonics vowel teams such as "oa", "ea", "oy" and many more.
Students will also be introduced to learning how to read 2 syllable words.Syllabus

Pre-Requisites
Learners should be able to:
➡️read 3, 4, 5 sound words, If your learner is not able to blend sounds together, please consider taking one of of my blending classes.
➡️read words with digraphs such as th, ch, sh, etc.
➡️know some sight words
Supply List
➡️I will supply copies of stories and reading activities. ➡️A highlighter, marker or pen would be helpful for some of the activities.
