In this class, students will learn how to make vegan drop biscuits from scratch. We will learn the basics of measuring, combining ingredients, and baking tips. This class will allow students to ask questions and learn the steps of combining ingredients followed by real time baking as I guide each student step by step. This class will be fun and interactive. Students will learn to read and understand a recipe. Students will learn to measure ingredients using measuring cups and measuring spoons. Students will learn to mix ingredients by following a recipe. Students will work on following written instructions and listening to verbal instructions.
INGREDIENT LIST: All purpose flour Baking powder Sugar Salt Non-dairy milk Apple cider vinegar Vegan Stick Butter OPTIONAL: *Cream of Tartar* *Garlic* KITCHEN SUPPLIES: Oven/ Toaster oven Mixing bowl Fork Measuring cups Measuring spoons Nonstick baking tray/ Cookie sheet 2 Oven mitts Spatula Butter knife (helps to accurately measure) Cooling rack (not necessary) You will receive the full recipe after enrolling in the class. Please print it, read it and have it to follow along in class.
