Welcome to our exciting Science class, specifically designed for preschoolers and kindergarteners! Students will learn about classifying living and non-living things through a story and activities with the teacher. In the lesson, the meaning of living and non-living will be discussed, and several examples will be given for each. Hey there! I'm excited to share that I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and spent a wonderful 10 years teaching in a public school. I had the pleasure of teaching 6th grade for 5 years and then taught in a 3rd grade classroom for the last 5 years. In my classes, I used small groups and tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students.
I'm really passionate about encouraging reading for fun and for learning. I truly believe that when students have a solid foundation in reading, learning becomes a whole lot easier. And you know what? Math has now become my new favorite subject to teach! I love coming up with different ways to help struggling learners and to challenge those who are stronger in math. I firmly believe that by making math and reading enjoyable, we can inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
