このクラスで学べること

Students will learn an overview of The Constitution. We will discuss the three branches, The Bill of Rights and what it means to have an amendment.
I am a life long lover of history, government, and America. I love to tackle big subjects in a way that is diverse and caters to a sensitive, growing mind. My commitment will be to remain neutral and respectful, understanding that each learner is coming from a home that shares its own beliefs and views.
I will be presenting through Google Slides, so no additional resources are needed.
This material will be non-political. I take this part very seriously and would never present this information in a way that would be meant to offend someone or their personal beliefs. We will discuss amendments and The Bill of Rights, briefly, but again, I will remain extremely neutral and be considerate of all families and beliefs/views.
The information in this class is non-bias and presented in a Google Slide show. The information comes right from the Constitution and an understanding of history. I have created the Google Slides myself, using bright and bold contrast, eye catching movement, large text. For age-appropriate content, I have consulted www.ducksters.com to make sure my delivery was on par with other sites. I understand some of Ducksters content has been controversial. My goal when referring to this website was not to use their language, views, or text, but rather make sure I am delivering this content on a child-appropriate way. None of what your students learn will be negative or inappropriate. My lesson is presented with facts, not opinions. It includes WHEN the constitution was created, WHY the constitution was created, HOW it was created, and WHAT you'll find on it. For example, we cover the constitutional convention, Bill of Rights, and the fact that the constitution was created so that the newly formed country could have some basic rules to help keep and maintain order.
