Students will be reading an exciting, fast paced book while learning how to dive deeper into the text using guiding questions to help promote thinking while developing Close Reading skills.

I am a certified, former classroom secondary English teacher with a BA and MA in English. I have tutored AP Human Geography, AP World History, AP US History, AP Government/Econ., AP Language, and AP Literature for over 10 years. I have also tutored ACT English and ACT Reading for several years. The materials that we use is content that I have gathered and used with all my face-to-face students.

Students will use the weekly reading schedule and reading guide. They will have reading/discussion questions to answer as they read. These questions and answers will be brought to class to facilitate discussion.
