5 年生/6 年生の算数分数トレーニング: 毎日の Kahoot ゲームで分数の掛け算と割り算を学習するレビュー

This class is a good fit for students that will be learning how to multiply and divide fractions in the upcoming school year. This class is also a good fit for students that need a review of how to multiply and divide fractions. Students in this class should know the multiplication facts.

The class will begin each day with a review of the multiplication facts. Next, the vocabulary words' reciprocal and simplest form will be explained and discussed. During the lesson, I will model on the Zoom whiteboard how to multiply and divide each fraction. Then I will model how to multiply and divide those fractions using the I do, we do, you do strategy. The students will be given many opportunities to multiply and divide fractions. The students will interact with me using Zoom whiteboard and Google slides. 

***At the end of class, the students will participate in a review using Kahoot games. This is a fun way for the students to show what they have learned. ***

The following lessons will be taught.
Day 1. Changing improper fractions and mixed numbers/simplifying fractions
Day 2. Multiply whole numbers and proper fractions with models
Day 3. Multiply mixed numbers
Day 4. Divide fractions and mixed numbers with models
Day 5. Solve word problems with fractions/Fraction review and assessment
