Each week, students will participate in a series of activities to engage their learning, while also promoting interaction in the classroom. Each week, students will view an instructional video that will be posted on Monday of that week. Week 2: Protista
-Video: students will watch the instructional video that will discuss what makes a protist unique to other living organisms including how they are unicelluar and what makes them different than bacteria. Euglena, Paramecium, Amoeba and movements will also be discussed in this course. Note Taker will be provided to be used with video.
-Activity: Students will complete " What kind of Protist Am I?" worksheet to determine the classification based off of characteristics, as well as if the organism is a protist at all or a bacteria based on description.
-Discussion Board: Students will answer daily questions in the classroom. Students will also be encouraged to help each other regarding the Break Out Room to help solve the problems. This can be done as a comment below the break out code link each week.

Orientación para padres
In this class, the six animal kingdoms will be discussed including how they may reproduce. While nothing specific will be discussed regarding animal anatomy or mating rituals, it is important parents and guardians are aware that discussion will come up regarding male vs. female and words such a "Sexual" and "a-sexual" may arise due to the reproduction of organisms based on their kingdoms, including plants due to their ability to both produce pollen and accept pollen for fertilization. In regards to animals, it will be briefly discussed how animals are unique as they require a mate to reproduce, and then live vs. egg young will be discussed. Discussion will be very brief regarding this concept.
Lista de útiles escolares
Students will be provided hand-outs for notes to keep for their possession each week, along with printable resources for activities. Students will also need a pencil to complete activities.
