¡Tentoría grupal STEM con el maestro Tom! Explore proyectos STEM a su propio ritmo -O

This is an open-topic mentoring program where your learner can meet with Teacher Tom for assistance with projects, homework, brainstorming, Kerbal Space Program, Boy/Girl Scout badge help,  Arduino kits, Snap Circuits, Woodworking & more!

This class runs the same as my 1:1 STEM mentoring class, however it allows for groups of friends or chosen classmates to meet together to work on specific projects.

Parents must contact the teacher in advance of enrolling to request a mentoring session on a topic or project of their choice and let the teacher know the numbers of students who will be attending in this specific class. All students must be registered with Outschool and enrolled separately regardless if they meet from the same location, unless otherwise arranged with Outschool as a class buyout.

During each session, the teacher will mentor the learners on, or help them work through, their topic of choice.

During this mentoring session the learner may:

- Articulate their goals to the teacher (Approx. 5 min)
- The teacher and learner will brainstorm solutions together (Approx. 5 min)
- The teacher and learner will tackle the assignment, projects, etc. and troubleshoot as needed (Approx. 45 min)
- Find a good stopping point and decide on appropriate homework for the learner (5 min)

Longer sessions can be requested as needed and tailored to your specific project.
