This is a beginners class. In this class I will teach students how to create an appealing youtube channel. The class will be broken down into three different sections, one for each day. :

Day 1: In day one each student will create a Youtube channel by linking a google account to Youtube. We will discuss the importance of having a clean page, a clear theme and an interesting name. Students will have the homework of creating an introduction video and uploading it to their computer. 

Day 2: Day two will be about uploading videos, creating keywords and utilizing a good thumbnail. Using the introduction video that was recorded as homework, students will upload those videos on Youtube as their first video. 

Day 3: Day three will be focused on getting followers, putting out great content and learning strategies to make a page even more appealing. At the end of the course, all of the students will be invited to subscribe to each other to get a good start with subscribers.

Students will learn how to create a Youtube channel that is appealing, professional and ready to gain a lot of followers. 
Students will learn the importance of details on a Youtube channel such as an effective thumbnail, keywords and video descriptions.

While Photoshop is not required to create a Thumbnail, I will be using it during day two of the class and I will be inviting students to copy what I am doing if they have Photoshop. Again, this is not a requirement, but if they have access to it, it will be helpful.

I have worked quite a bit with Youtube. While I personally don't have a huge following on my own Youtube channel, I have worked for different  companies that have thousands of followers. I've created Youtube videos that have been used by ESPN, BYUtv and KSL Newsradio, all companies with more than 15K followers. 

I also teach an Introduction to Photoshop class that is very similar in the teaching style. Of the students that have taken that course, I have a perfect 5-star rating.
