¿De verdad quieres aprender latín? | Capítulos 1-3 | Clases de latín | (12-16 años)

Start your learner's study of the Latin language using the textbook, 'So You Really Want to Learn Latin'.  Meeting weekly, leaners will learn to conjugate verbs, decline nouns and translate short stories from Latin to English.

Every week, I explain, step-by-step, how to use nouns like agricola or verbs like amō.  We also use a textbook, So You Really Want To Learn Latin: Book 1, to guide our study.  By week 4, learners are completing short written exercises.  By week 12, learners can translate short stories from English into Latin and can compose from English into Latin.  

In addition to this, at the end of each lesson, I teach learners about the key dates, people and places in Roman history.  I also make connections between Latin vocabulary and the English words derived from them.  This builds your learners knowledge of the world and supports their learning in history, geography and English lessons (social studies and ELA).
