Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 8
Beginner - Intermediate Level
🦠In just one year, you will be transformed into a budding biologist! This course will help you master the wonders of life from cells to ecosystems!

🔬Middle school science is divided into three subjects: physical, earth, and life science. This course covers everything you need to know about middle school life science in an engaging, fun, and memorable way!

👩‍🔬Science begins with a question, and that is what every lesson will start with. We will work on answering that lesson question throughout the day, and you will become an expert at answering it! Students will use interactive models and real-world examples to make science come alive and be relevant to their everyday lives.

Student Outcomes:
✅Use interactive models to make science relevant and easy to remember

✅Build critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills and learn how to ask scientific questions and conduct experiments

✅Gain communication skills and participate in group discussion with other learners and the instructor

Learning Goals

Students will describe the structure and function of cells.
Students will understand the principles of heredity and explore the function of DNA and the role of genes in determining traits.
