In our tutoring sessions, students will receive instruction on biology concepts aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These sessions are designed to address any specific biology topics that students need assistance with. To facilitate a more engaging learning experience, an interactive teaching approach will be employed. Topics Macromolecules Cells Cellular Transport Genetics Chemical Process at a Cellular level Evolution DNA, RNA, & Protein Synthesis Classification of Species Plant Classificcation & Processes Ecology Human Body Students are encouraged to maintain a notebook dedicated to these sessions, ideally in an interactive format, to consolidate all relevant information in a single location. This practice is beneficial for effective review and retention. Each session will begin with an opportunity for students to ask questions, after which we will delve deeper into those topics of concern. To enhance understanding, review games and diagrams will be utilized, along with thought-provoking questions that encourage students to think critically and draw connections between related concepts.

Students should have taken and passed middle school science.
