Python is a great language to learn for 10 to 15 year olds. It allows learners to get a good grasp on coding concepts very quickly and be able to use it for solving problems.

In this 3 day camp, we will cover the following Python language fundamentals:

What is Python
Python syntax
Variables
Numbers
Strings
Booleans
Operators
If condition
For loops
Functions

What to expect in each session:

* We will solve real world problems to help retain the concepts.
* We will write actual code together and also look at slides if needed.
* Learners will be shown examples which they can use. 
* After that they will be expected to solve the problems presented on their own.
* At the end we will discuss the solutions.

Teaching Style:

We get the best results when learners attempt unseen problems on their own. This allows them to think of the solution on their own first. They may get things wrong in the beginning but they exercise their minds to think of complexity, and thus get better at solving problems over time.

I'm a Software Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. I graduated from Mumbai University as a Computer Science engineer in 2000 and completed my Masters in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006.
