Is your child struggling in math? Do they need the help of a tutor to understand concepts in multiplication, long division, or even fractions? In this class, your student's struggle is my command. As one who enjoys math and works on math equations to pass the time, I have tricks and tidbits I would love to share with your student so they can move from their troubles to being a math wizard. Having tutored my 4 children in math, and math having being one of my favorite subjects in school (the other history), I would love to share my learning ways and quick methods with you. We'll have fun, tell jokes, and walk away with a greater understanding of just how to conquer this beast known as "Math". Outside of having my own children, I work for Tutor Doctor as a math and ELA tutor, assisting students from the basics of 2nd grade math to preparing for the ACTs. I am also currently enrolled in Oakland City University's Masters of Teaching program and will be taking the Math PRAXIS in March 2022 for certification as a Math Teacher upon graduation in May 2022.
I will provide a link to all homework and the final test for the students to complete online by simply choosing the correct answer. Calculators can be used for homework only but it is strongly advised that they be used to check work only and not used to achieve the answers without effort. The final test will not allow for any calculators. All outgoing and incoming homework and test will be via the classroom site.
