Metas de aprendizaje
The parts of a great story are found within five main elements:
- Characters
- Setting
- Plot
- Conflict
- Resolution

In looking at a number of stories already written, from nursery rhymes to today's best-sellers, we will dive in to see what makes a great story, and how we too can bring our story to life. In allowing the student to write creatively, we will discuss what it is we are trying to say, how we are saying it, and what we hope the reader takes away from the writing.

Homework will consist of five writing assignments based on the details learned in class.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
As a student in grade school, I loved writing. I loved it so much that I have already written four books that can be found on Amazon, and have another dozen or so stories in my head waiting to be thrown down on paper. I have been able to use my love for writing to prepare speeches, sermons, and to perform my daily activities at work writing formal documents. But nothing is as fun to me as creating a story from scratch, developing my own characters, and bring the reader into my imagination. So how about you? Do you have a story that you are ready to tell? Then come with me and let's creatively write our tale.
