In our ongoing class together, we will be exploring the habitats of the world that lay within the biosphere. We’ll be focusing on the five major biomes that spread across the globe. Each learner will discover what biomes are, where they’re located, and what’s the difference between them and habitats/ecosystems. We’ll experience several things about each type of biome such as its climate, vegetation, soil, and wildlife. An animal that lives within the biome will be presented each class; we’ll review the four major spheres of the earth too. Learners will be engaged as they look into these large communities of habitats and learn fascinating facts about them. 

During our class, everyone will be able to actively participate, there will be discussions and activities. A slideshow will also be presented in each class to highlight information about the biome of the week. You may choose to join one, two, or all weeks!

Learners will gain a greater understanding of the major biomes through exploring the various types and comparing and contrasting them. 

This is a terrific opportunity to explore the natural world around us. No prior knowledge is needed; all can join. This ongoing class will be an engaging way to experience nature’s wonders-biomes!
