En nuestro semestre de 8 semanas juntos, descubriremos las propiedades de la luz, los fenómenos naturales de la luz, cómo las criaturas crean luz, las distintas longitudes de onda de la luz y otros conceptos de física como la teoría ondulatoria de la luz. (MCER B2, C1, C2)

1 hora por semana. Beginning the second week of the course, each learner is required to upload a journal entry weekly. The journal entry is a one-page document where the learner highlights a concept from the previous lesson that stood out to them. Learners can be creative with the journal entry (it can be a drawing, etc).Evaluación

Have you ever thought about where light comes from; what exactly it is? Or have you ever wondered why we see the colors we do? In our eight-week course together, we will explore light and color. We’ll be investigating and discussing these questions as well as other mysterious concepts to understand light more clearly. We see light everyday, it’s all around us, so it would be interesting to discover more about it. The focus of this course is to use the knowledge we have about sunlight and build on that to obtain a deeper understanding of the world we live in. Each week the learners will be encouraged to actively participate; there will be discussions and engaging activities throughout the course. In addition to that, the learners will be required to upload their journal entry for the week to foster community in the classroom. A slideshow will also be presented each week to highlight the information presented accompanied by short comprehensive quizzes. This eight-week course presents physics topics in a creative way in order to create an experience where learners will have a greater understanding of many aspects of sunlight which can lead to exploration of similar topics. I hope your learner can join this awesome opportunity to investigate a phenomenon of our natural world. Some basic knowledge of the topic is helpful, but all learners can join. This course will broaden each learners’ knowledge of such an essential part of nature-light!
