Continue learning French phonics with Ms. Erika in this fun and engaging online class. In this class, students will extend their knowledge of French phonics by learning French compound sounds. Students will practice these sounds in isolation and learn to read them in words. 

Each week, we will focus on three different compound sounds. As the teacher, I will guide students through the different sounds each lesson by giving each student the opportunity to repeat these new sounds and practice identifying them. I incorporate the use of lots of visual aids to help my students learn new concepts. This will include slides for the students to follow along and flashcards to help memorization. Students will also get to participate in sing-a-longs to help them memorise the different sounds of the French language.
I create a relaxing and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable practicing their reading skills by ensuring that all learners are included and have the opportunity to participate. In this class, your child will not only gain reading abilities, but they will have fun along the way!

This is an excellent class to assist young learners in improving their reading abilities. This class is intended for students that can already read simple syllables. Students should already have a thorough knowledge of letter sounds and be able to blend 2 letters together. Week 2: The sounds "ch", "in", "ai"
Week 3: The sounds "eu", "ei", "ui
Week 4: The sounds "an", "en", "et"

Week 6: The sounds "qu", "eil/eille", "ain"
Week 7: The sounds "oin", "œu", "ph"
