In this early reading introduction course for kindergarten and 1st grade, we will learn phonics skills that have short vowel sounds, practice spelling and reading. Great supplement for homeschool, afterschool and summer enrichment. There are 3 activities in the classes. -First, going over the phonics skill (using anchor charts and/or chants) and have a movement break. -Practice sounding out and blending words. Then read a sentence. -Using 3 steps to spell a word and then read a sentence. For the remainder of class time, we will play games to reinforce the phonics skill and reading. Learners will practice decoding, blend, spell, write and read words and/or sentences.

The lessons and/or extra practice homework will be created on Google Jamboard, Google Slides and or Google Forms in which I will share my screen with the learners.
The learners won't need an account to engage in the lessons.
