In this engaging and supportive writing class, learners will have the opportunity to expand their imaginations, stretch their thinking, share their ideas, and improve their writing skills. Even if your child isn’t ready to write independently or needs some support to put words on paper, this class is designed to support your child’s efforts and build their skills. Here’s what you can expect:

1.	Weekly Writing Projects: Each week, we will create a new writing project. We'll start with simple writing activities that focus on words, move on to phrases and sentences, and move on to longer writing projects. We will write poetry, instructions, opinion pieces, and stories.

2.	Artistic Accompaniments: Writing isn’t the only focus here! There will also be time for drawing or coloring a picture to go along with the writing.

3.	Printable Template: For each class, I’ll provide a printable template for writing and drawing. If you don’t have access to a printer, blank paper will work just as well.

4.	Collaborative & Supportive Learning: I’ll start each class by introducing the project and showing examples. We will then brainstorm and share ideas for our own projects. As we work on our own projects, I will model the writing process, help spell tricky words, and offer my input. For those who are not yet able to write independently, I will invite them to share their ideas with me, and I will do the writing.

5.	Inclusive Environment: Neurodiverse learners are warmly welcomed. I’ll meet each learner where they are, tailoring my approach to their unique needs. Please reach out to me if you want to discuss your child’s individual learning style.

6.	Microphone Etiquette: I welcome and encourage conversation during class! Learner microphones will rarely be muted. Only if background noises interfere with the class experience will I gently request muting.

7.	Parental Support: Parents, feel free to stay nearby if your child needs assistance. However, allow me to guide and support them during class.

8.	Questions and Concerns: If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to ensure a positive learning journey for everyone.
