During lessons we will develop the student's:

Lessons will be very consistent and follow the same routine every single week:

1. Warm-Up: Warm-up exercises typically include long tones, lip slurs, and breathing exercises to improve tone quality and breath control.

2. Review of Previous Material: Student will play material from previous lesson to ensures the student is progressing and retaining what they've learned.

3. New Material: The bulk of the lesson will focus on learning new material. This could include working on a specific piece of music, scales, arpeggios, technical exercises, or etudes. 

4. Sight-Reading: Sight-reading skills should be developed during lessons. This is a great way to improve a student's music fundamentals and apply what they worked on in the lesson to a new piece of music.

5. Practice Assignments: At the end of the lesson, I will typically assign practice exercises for the student to work on before the next lesson. This helps the student progress between lessons.
