Knowing and understanding how to find measurements of various shapes are an essential part of geometry, and math in general. For this class, students will be taught about finding the area and hypotenuse of triangles. The key to knowing how to find the area and hypotenuse, respectively, of triangles is first knowing the basic definition of angles and triangles (including the six different types).
