"Adventures in Folklore: Exploring Tales and Legends From Around the World" provides a safe and inclusive space for students to express their ideas, ask questions, and foster empathy through understanding diverse perspectives. By the end of the course, students will have gained a rich appreciation for the universal themes found in folklore, an understanding of various folklore traditions, and a deeper connection to the shared human experience across cultures and time. Students also will have the opportunity to request future topics that are of interest to them, or from their culture!
