In this course, students will learn about the human skeletal system. Students will review the 206 bones in the human body and learn the importance of tendons, ligaments, and bone marrow. Students are encouraged to interact with their instructor and peers with engaging questions and interactive quizzes. Students are not required to have any prior knowledge. The subjects we will cover include: Week of May 11: Bones of the Arm & Hands Week of May 18: The Skull & Spine Week of May 25: Ribs & Pelvis Week of June 1: Bones of the Legs & Feet Week of June 8: Bone Marrow Week of June 22: Tendons & Ligaments Week of June 29: Broken bones Week of July 6: Bone Diseases & Cancer
