Class Experience

In this class, we will discuss cell growth and cell reproduction. We will cover mitosis in somatic cells and meiosis in gametes. Students will identify the two different end products of mitosis and meiosis.  Students will be taught with teacher-led instruction accompanied by pictures, graphics, and interactive questions and answers. Students are encouraged to participate during class and interact with their instructor and peers. Students are not required to have any prior experience or...

As a biology teacher, I have been able to teach mitosis and meiosis on various levels while incorporating fun games and memorization techniques into various biology topics. As a high school biology teacher it is important to emphasize the different end products of mitosis and meiosis to helps students identify the products.
