In these weekly online tutoring sessions, the learner will receive one to one instruction in the area of written language.
Class experience
The learner will receive instruction in spelling and constructing sentences to be applied to written work. The learner will also receive instruction in the area of language fluency by developing written work, in paragraph format, with a topic, body and conclusion. The learner will create a written work through the stages of pre-writing, draft, edit, revision and publish. The learner will develop skills of written language to include areas of mechanics (phonic/spelling emphasis) and written language fluency and progress to an independent level in pre-writing stages of the writing process.
