1 hour per week. In our tutoring sessions, learners will not receive formal written evaluations. Instead, they are assessed continuously throughout our sessions, allowing me to adjust instruction based on their strengths and areas for growth. I provide personalized support to help students strengthen sentence structure, grammar rules, and writing techniques while embracing their unique ideas and learning styles. 🔹️This dyslexia- and dysgraphia-friendly tutoring session offers a structured yet flexible approach, fostering a positive and engaging learning experience. Whether your child needs help with essay writing, creative expression, or foundational grammar, I tailor each lesson to their strengths. 🔹️Join me for customized, supportive, and confidence-boosting tutoring that makes writing fun and accessible! ⚙️Unique technology tools can be introduced to assist each students' learning needs. 🔸️Students' base knowledge will be evaluated during sessions and concepts will be introduced for age and understanding. Sample possible writing areas: ~Sentence structure and development ~Parts of speech-preposition approach ~Stages of Writing Process: prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing ~Formatting writing: Google Docs, Microsoft Word, MLA, APA... ~Expository ~Opinion ~Persuasive ~Informative ~Narrative ~Creative ~Research paper: step-by-step development process ~Topic development, thesis statements, and hook sentences ~Presentation development: Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint ~Partnership writing: guided writing with unique concepts ~Map writing and development ~Book reports: creativity projects ~Homework assistance: writing, grammar, parts of speech, punctuation, capitalization... ~Note-taking methods: Cornell, Outline, SQ4R, Visual/Image notes... 👉Please send a message after enrolling with the preferred topics for your child's session. Learning Needs
This class supports all learning levels and abilities. Many unique learning opportunities are available for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and neurodiverse learners. Supportive technology with various in class tools will be offered to students.
Supply List
Students may bring textbooks and homework should they need assistance with solidifying concepts. They may choose to use paper and pencil, and I will type all writing on-screen as part of our session time together.

My teaching philosophy encompasses all learning styles. I want to engage my students and provide dynamic private tutoring to build upon students' current knowledge. Each student is unique and has a specific way they learn best. Whether a student enjoys conversation, drawing, visuals, or listening, they will feel comfortable in our sessions. I tutor locally as well as privately online from elementary through university levels. I have assisted in the editing and publishing process, as well as statistical footnotes in books, periodicals, and journals. Every student has talents and gifts to uncover!
