Beginner - Advanced Level
This class will focus on the editing process of writing. Students are encourage to bring a sample writing piece (that is written by them). Students will need to have a prerequisite skill of knowing how to complete a writing piece. Together, we will engage in the writing process, focusing on editing and revising. - Students will improve their writing skills by learning tools to successfully editing and revising their writing. They will learn the importance of editing and revising their writing.
I am certified the teach Elementary and Middle School Education in the state of Maryland, with a specialization in Language Arts. I have experience working directly with students through the writing process from grades 5-12.
As this class is the one-to-one structure, it is very beneficial for all learners. Differentiation can be made for a learner and their individual needs, in any way that will make their learning in a positive and successful way.
Please bring a writing sample, written by you. This can be a past piece of work, or a specific work that needs edited and revised for the first time.
