I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I currently have 17 years of classroom experience and I am currently certified in elementary (K-6) and special education (K-12). I have 17 years experience teaching all academic subjects (Science, Social Studies, Math, Reading, and Language Arts). I have 19 years of experience with leading appropriate discussions with children in the classroom. I teach this because it is an important skill for children to master.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please make sure that your learner is ready to have an age fun and appropriate discussion. Conversations that are violent or sexual in nature or discuss a sensitive political issue may not be discussed. Please discuss this with your learner before class begins. Learners will be reminded when the class begins that this is a safe place for discussion. They will be made aware that while not everyone may agree with everything that is said that they are expected to be respectful of each other’s opinion.
