Class Experience
In this ongoing class, learners will learn how to complete the perfect makeup look. Each week we will work with different colors and create beautiful looks. I have a passion for doing makeup and I would love to show your child techniques that I have learned to create different makeup looks. We will discuss the steps as we go and the items that we use. As well as discuss the importance of taking care of our skin. All while creating beautiful makeup looks. Every learner will need : Face Primer (Optional) Foundation Concealer Powder can be loose or pressed (Optional) Blush Bronzer (Optional) Highlight (Optional) 3 complimentary colors of eyeshadow (matte close to skin color, light shimmery shade, and a darker shade) white eyeshadow (You can use your highlight if you choose) Eyeliner Mascara Lip gloss or balm Mirror Tools to apply the makeup The weekly topics will be determined based on what the learners decide. They will be learner directed.

Parental Guidance
Learners will be working with makeup and applying it to their faces. You will want to check the ingredients of the makeup before class to make sure there is nothing that the learner may be allergic to or irritate their skin. Parents if you would like feel free to sit with your learner as we work in the class to make sure none of the products that are used cause your learner any discomfort.

Hello! My name is Jennifer Rodriguez. I have 19 years of classroom experience. I am currently certified in Elementary Education K-6, Special Education K-12, and I have a reading endorsement to help struggling readers. I have taught all grades K-5. I have a bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University.
I believe my classroom needs to be an environment where students should feel safe. All students are individual and everyone learns in their own unique way. I use multiple methods of teaching to reach students, so that no one feels left behind.
On Outschool, I will be teaching academic content classes, and classes that help with social and life skills. I want all of my classes to be fun and stimulate my learners. We will work through hands on learning, and class discussion.
I am a mother to a very active eleven year old who keeps me busy. I have a passion for teaching and realized that at a very young age. I love to travel and explore new places. I also love to read! I feel like reading can take you places it is a great escape.
