Description

Class Experience

Students will learn or improve their understanding of synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, homophones, and homographs. The word choice activities to be covered in this class will give learners the confidence to recognize and use more than the words they are familiar with in their vocabulary, writing, and speech. At the end of class, learners will understand, recognize, and identify the similarities and differences between the word types.
The worksheets for this class will be provided by the teacher in the Outschool classroom for parents to print before class. Learners will also need blank lined paper, pencil, 3 crayons/colored pencils (red, blue, yellow).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There are worksheets parents will need to print and have ready for their learner to use during class.
