In this one-time class, students will work 1-1 with an Elementary School teacher to become confident and fluent with their sight words. Students are able to bring sight word lists to class, or they will be provided using the standards for the student's age. Students will practice sight words as well as using them in sentences. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I have experience teaching/tutoring kindergarten and first graders with their sight words and the beginning fundamentals of reading and writing.
Homework Offered
Students will be encouraged to practice their sight words when they are free time.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learner progress will be assessed by participation and fluency on sight words.Grades Offered
Pencil and Paper. Sight word lists are optional and can be provided by teacher.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
