1-1 Sight Word & Literacy- Kindergarten/1st Grade (by Elementary School Teacher)

In this one-time class, students will work 1-1 with an Elementary School teacher to become confident and fluent with their sight words. Students are able to bring sight word lists to class, or they will be provided using the standards for the student's age.  Students will practice sight words as well as using them in sentences.  Sight words are the foundation of reading and writing and as a former first grade teacher, I know how important mastering these words are for future learning. I create a fun, interactive environment for students and I will make accommodations based on the different levels that students as on.  Students will need a pencil and piece of paper to write their sentences on.  Students are able to sign up for this class multiple times and I will continue to work with them and help them improve on their sight words based on their individual needs.
