Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Our goal is for your learner to practice a fun blend of sight word exploration and reading practice. Mastering sight words is a crucial step in your learner's reading journey. These high-frequency words appear often in when reading and often defy regular phonetic patterns that we learn when initially sounding out letters. By learning sight words, children can read more fluently, comprehend sentences effortlessly, and build the confidence needed to tackle more complex words.

Each week, we'll explore three new sight words, alongside interactive activities designed to reinforce these words.

Our class is thoughtfully structured, dedicating the first segment to sight word discovery through games and engaging exercises, so they can THRIVE when it comes to reading.

Our teaching style incorporates storytelling, games, and visual aids to make sight word learning enjoyable. We practice sharing examples & having open discussions, ensuring a supportive environment for creativity. Since our classes are kept to a small group of learners, your learner will also have individual attention to practice each word throughout class.
