Class experience
In this intro to watercolours class learners will explore some of the key techniques used by watercolour artists. We will examine these techniques, test them out in class, and take about how they can be used in our paintings and painting practice. I will share some of my favourite tips for bringing watercolour into drawing and how this versatile medium can be used in a variety of styles. Learners will want to have : a set of watercolour paints (tube or pan) watercolour paper (140lb) - 5 sheets approximately 8x10 in size (you may find it cheaper to buy a large sheet from your local arts & craft store and cut down to size.) Pencil and eraser Paper towels Table salt Optional: Ruler Low tax masking tape Drawing board
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
