Valentine's Day Word-Game Challenges: Keep Score & Have Fun With Language

In this fun and fast-paced word game class, students will have fun with language as they solve a number of different types of Valentine's Day themed word-based challenges.  They will practice their reading, critical thinking and deductive reasoning (logic skills) in an engaging format while playing with language. Students enjoy keeping score as they solve the diverse challenges and really enjoy the 'bonus play' opportunities. 

The class appeals to diverse learning styles since it has many activities for both linguistic and visual learners. The word-based language challenges progress in both difficulty and interest level. All of the language games have a Valentine's Day focus.

I am a very encouraging and positive teacher (with 20 years experience) and I take every opportunity possible to maximize student engagement. Students taking this class are strongly encouraged to have their cameras on as it develops students' intrapersonal skills and I can more effectively teach and respond to students' non-verbal cues.
