Hi! My name is Retz. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a minor in Biology from the University of Miami. I received a Master’s Degree in History from Villanova University along with a Museum Studies Certificate from the University of Delaware. One of my passions is Japanese. I have lived in Japan for five years. I obtained Japanese Language Proficiency Test Certificates for the N3, N4, and N5 levels. And have been teaching Japanese in various capacities. I also possess a TESOL certificate and have taught ESL English for over eight years. I have experience teaching kids from 3-15 years of age. In my class, it is vital that students feel welcome and excited about learning. I do this by engaging with the students and providing encouragement and simple rewards throughout the class.
