Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
This one-time class offers an exciting combination of practicing reading skills such as comprehension, making predictions, character traits, and critical thinking skills while incorporating art through drawing and following step-by-step instructions. Together, we will discuss an original story read by Mrs. Sara, followed by a sequential "how-to" draw a unicorn. For students that may be frustrated by drawing, a coloring sheet will be provided at sign up under the files section of the...
Students will be encouraged to use comprehension skills, use predictions and practice critical thinking skills. Additionally, students will apply listening skills and become more confident artists.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents who choose to draw a unicorn will want to have a blank piece of paper, a pencil with an eraser and coloring utensils. Students who would like to color the coloring page should have it printed and ready to color in class. Please reach out with any questions!
