Class Experience

Learn how to play the trombone! Beginner students will learn to read music, make a good sound on the trombone, identify slide positions, and play simple songs as well as take care of their instruments. Intermediate and advanced students will improve their trombone technique. 

No prior experience is required. If students already know how to read music, we’ll just start on the trombone. 

Please indicate your student’s level of proficiency upon enrollment since I teach all levels. 

I am happy to teach students outside of the listed age range; just let me know if this is the case. I like to be prepared!

Supply List

Students will need access to a trombone. Recommended brands include King, Yamaha, Bach, and Conn. They will also need slide oil or cream. Please contact me if you have any questions.
