Join me as we explore the exciting neighborhood of Montmartre in Paris during the 19th century. Artists like Suiss-born French Art Nouveau artist Théophile Alexandre STEINLEN were very attracted to the district of Montmartre and the lifestyle of the Le Chat Noir. 🐈⬛ Steinlen created many, many art nouveau images of cats and we will explore them in class. My classes are relaxed experiences, where learners are welcome to ask questions and make comments as we learn together. Follow me step by step as I create a work of art based on our class subject, or branch out to produce an entirely individual creation inspired by our discussion. Children are welcome to share their artwork with the class as we work together. Some students who work at a slower pace may not fully complete their masterpiece in the time permitted for this class and will want to finalize their piece after the live video has ended. This is perfectly normal!
