This four-week, hands-on class will teach the basics of Excel, while logging students' trading cards, whether they're Pokemon, Baseball, or other cards! Learners will create spreadsheets, organize data and create formulas and graphs.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn how to use Microsoft Excel, discovering its powerful capabilities by tracking their own trading cards. Students should have at least ten trading cards that they will log in an Excel spreadsheet, whether they're Pokemon, baseball, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh or other cards. I have virtually taught over 1,100 young learners online, but prior to that I enjoyed a thirteen-year corporate career, where I used Microsoft Excel to make my work more efficient and effective on a daily basis. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
Homework Offered
Students may wish to spend time after class logging additional cards into their spreadsheet. This is optional.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
