𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
This is a self-paced class, so there are no live sessions, but learners have access to the materials below through eight lessons. I estimate that this will take about 1-1.5 hours (2 lessons) per week over 4 weeks, but can be completed sooner if desired.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱?
𝟭) 𝗘𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀—During the recordings, I share slides to discuss key concepts about each financial statement focus. Five recordings are 18-25 minutes long and three are 6-15 minutes long.

𝟮) 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀--During recordings, we will use what the student has learned to fill out financial spreadsheet templates. I will share my screen so that students can see what I am doing in Google Sheets. Students should use Google Sheets on their laptop or computer in-order to follow along and get hands on experience during class. After the recording, the learner will be able to share their completed Google Sheets spreadsheet with me and receive feedback via messaging.

𝟯) 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀--The notes pages will provide a quick summary of key vocabulary and concepts that I discussed during the recording.

𝟰) 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀--In addition to the Google Sheets assignments, the optional homework is provided via a Google Document. I will provide feedback on all homework.

𝟱) 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 from me on all submitted work and any questions. I will respond in 0-48 hours, but usually in less than 24. If you need longer than the four weeks to submit assignments, please let me know and I am happy to extend your access.

In order to benefit from this course, students do not need to have used Google Sheets before, but should be able to use their mouse and keyboard.
